Who said cookies can’t change the world? At Charlie’s, we’re are all about spreading the joy, one bite at a time, and we generously give our cookies away to help support our community. Over the recent years have donated almost $80,000 in cookies away to local organisations and charities. That’s a lot of cookies! But that’s not all we give away.

Through our Proud to call Australia Home snack boxes on Qantas we have raised over $100,000 for national not-profit organisations. And we’re not stopping there. You can read all about it here

Why do we do it? Because we believe in business as a force for good. We believe in the Aussie spirit that seeks to support others, and because our cookies are so yummy that we think everyone needs to try them. 

If you think you might qualify for some local love or bigger strategic support, please jump in and complete the application form. We’re always busy baking, so make sure you give us at least 3 weeks to review your request.

Our sponsorship annual framework is based around our core beliefs of community, innovation and great food. With that in mind our outline looks a little like this:

  1.  A maximum of 8 local schools and education programs per annum.
  2. A maximum of 4 Business and entrepreneurial organisations per annum.
  3. A maximum of 2 Food charity programs.
  4. A maximum of 1 Christmas sponsorship initiative as selected by our Facebook fan base through a survey competition.
  5. A maximum of 1 charity sponsorship as selected by our staff.

 

We don’t like saying ‘no’ to community groups, so have recently added to our policy, by offering our cookies at a special fundraising cost price. This will allow us to support more groups and allowing groups to on-sell the products at a retail price and retain the margin for fundraising.
